Sex With Prostitutes Controlled by Pimps Now a Criminal Offence

The Government has taken radical steps today in announcing that punters looking to pay for sex with women controlled by pimps is now a criminal offence. From selling soft porn in newsagents to running completely legitimate escort services through to hardcore prostitution the sex industry is big business.

Now the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has announced some tough changes that make it a criminal offence for clients to pay for sex with prostitutes that are controlled by pimps.

The Government is keen to clamp down on the exploitation of women and in particular an explosion in the trafficking of women into the country purely for the purpose of prostitution in organised gangs controlled by pimps.

Many prostitutes are supporting the Government measures and some feel they should go further by legitimising organised brothels in order to make the sex industry even safer.
