Rail Industry Bosses Come Together for Awards

Two of the UKs top civil engineers and rail industry bosses have been named in this New Years honours list. The incoming top man for Crossrail, Terry Morgan is to receive a CBE for his efforts and achievements in public services, something he has managed to achieve in his current role with rail firm Tube Lines. Morgan will be moving on to the role as Chairman of Crossrail during the summer and will lead the incredible £16bn project to produce the long awaited cross London link.

Joining Morgan on the honours list for a CBE will be Rob Holden who, ironically is the man tipped to join Morgan on the Crossrail project. Holden is credited for his part in delivering the phenomenal Euro Tunnel and other incredible achievements for the railways including the St Pancreas station restoration project.

The Crossrail project will the two men bring together on the same incredible railway project, set to one of the UK's most ambitious and challenging. The UK is currently experiencing a rail revolution with a series of new and exciting projects that will run alongside numerous regeneration works across the length and breadth of the UK.
